I would've taken information that was not a interview after that E3, yes. You instead just called me a fanboy and treated me as if i were such an idiot that i couldn't find google myself. Besides up until Malstrom started criticizing Nintendo his words were taken for the word amongst a lot of Nintendo fans.
The SKU not being completed isn't stopping Microsoft or Sony from having people work on Motion Games. But you are right Nintendo has been pretty secretive. I also didn't know that Nintendo has been kicking around ideas of motion controls before Wii so please don't assume what we know.
That wouldn't be very hard. They could pull up some of the patents they may not have planned on using and shown them much like Sony or Microsoft would and have done.
With actual proof i might have been easily convinced. Instead you called me names and made me feel inferior so I'm probably just not going to listen to much you have to say. Thanks for assuming my motives and judging me when you could have simply provided evidence that might have changed my mind. If i truly feel i'm wrong i have no problem saying "gee you are right" or "let's agree to disagree". I don't call people names and insult their intelligence. So even if you are correct maybe you need to rethink the manner in which you respond so as it's actually conducive to education of individuals if that is even your goal.

I called you a Sony fanboy because the only people that ever call WM+ a response to Sony Sphere are Sony fanboy's. Considering you assumed Nintendo was just responsing to Sony, what else should I have concluded from your assertation? You made no attempt on your own to examine the truth and merely accepted the Sony fanboy theory and worse still you practically called Nintendo, Miyamoto, Iwata and the entire WM+ team a liar. Given that, how should I have assumed your demeanor other than that of Sony fanboy?
My apologies if you're not. But don't assume people are going to grant you a free pass on bias when you profess a fanboy mantra and call Nintendo a bunch of liars.
2004: Nintendo talks about using specific peripherals to prolong the GC instead of releasing a new console.

WM+ was not built into the Wii remote at launch because the technology at the time cost over $500 per chip. Nintendo worked with InvenSense to get the product down to a mass market price and so that production could reach mass quantities (product line was just a few hundred a year back in 2006; not to forget the high price tag).
Basically put the whole thing was supposed to come out for Gamecube but the patents and licensing were way ahead fo the technology and costs. By the time things were looking plausible, only part of the tech was ready (the accelerometers from Analog Decives [Wii remote] and STMicroelectronics [nun-chuck]). The MEMS gyroscope from InvenSense was still too expensive until the IDG-650 in Dec 2006. A litle too late at that point so they began working on how to attach it to the Wii remote. And now we have WM+.
