That's different though, cops are like mods for the internet, they're job is to make sure people follow the rules. But ioi isn't a mod he's the one that made the rules for the mods to keep track of. IMO he can do whatever the hell he wants, if it wasn't for him we all wouldn't be here in this forum right now.

I wish more people called out the other tracking services when they make mistakes. But they don't and whenever VGchartz makes a mistake it reduces this sites credibility!

You want free, easily searchable charts from around the world that have analytical tools that can be applied to the data to compare the data easily? You're here. VGchartz is the only organisation that does what it does. Mistakes will happen because it is a smaller operation with a smaller sample size in its respective regions. Making this site aware of mistakes is a good thing. Doing it whilst saying it means the data is made up is not constructive at all.

I'm really excited to hear that the ps3 data was actually for the pc! I hope we eventually get pc data each week as I think it'll really enrich the site and bring in more pc gamers.

Reading through this topic, I would say that the tension between Chrizum and ioi is due to a series of misunderstandings and nothing more.

As for Nordlead's comment, while I honestly don't feel it to be be banworthy given circumstance, loads of posters have been banned for less than that, and IMO there is a bit of a problem with mods, and pretty much anybody else with a coloured name, getting away with more than they should. I always keep tabs on the banned users because, for the most part, their posts make me laugh, and I've seen many users getting banned for directly insulting another member like that with a mod's message always being something similar to: "Report the user if you don't like what what he or she said - Direct insults aren't tolerated here on VGChartz."
