Ok. I just went and played a lot of the campaign and spent a lot of time in multiplayer. All I have ot say is HAHAHAHAHA. Selnor, I would get banned if I was able to truly express myself about how silly your notion is of MW2 looking better than KZ2. Not to say that MW2 looks bad. By no means does it, but come on...better than KZ2? NAH?

Just look at the point ps3-sales makes with his current thread:

"As you probably already know, IGN recentley reviewed Modern Warfare 2. Here is the review
It unsurprisingly scored a 9.5. Everyone basically knew that. What I have a problem with, is the graphics score. They scored the graphics a perfect 10 out of 10. I very strongly do not think this game merits that score for its visuals.

Similiarly, they also scored the first Modern Warfare a 10 out of 10 for its graphics. You can find that review here.
Normally I wouldn't make such a big deal out of this. But when IGN also scores Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted 2 a perfect graphics score, it makes me question their reasoning. Also if you think about it, other titles, such as Killzone 2 and Gears of War 2, two of the best console looking games out there, only scored a 9.5 in the graphics department.

Don't you think the graphics score for both of the modern warfares are overscored? They are not really that impressive, especially to the likings of Metal Gear Solid 4.
What are your thoughts?"
Think about it. Do you think that MW2 looks better than Gears 2? What about your beloved Forza 3? Didn't think so....but since you've been itching for the LONGEST time for something....ANYTHING to look better than KZ2, you're hopping all on it.
I'm mean really...do you think that KZ2 looks WORSE than CoD4? I mean, they gave a 10 in graphics for that game too....

Try it on a powerful PC. Blows most stuff away - aside from Crysis.

AND it runs on a fairly mid level enthusiast PC (Q9550, 4GB-DDR2, GTX280, 128GB G.Skill SSD) at full speed 100% of the time.

Technically, if you know what to look for, it does not match Gears, Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2 - but it does look very nice. But heck, they render below 720p for the most part, relying on careful design and strong animation and character models plus the smooth fps to make it look better than technically it is (which is actually pretty smart when you think about it).

But technically this isn't the top graphical powerhouse. Plays great though.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

what... everyone that says codmw2 on the console's looks better than kz2 on the ps3 NEEDS to buy a ps3 with killzone2 and play it!
what a dumpasses...mw2 is not near killzone2

Even if it's not the top looking game out there, the later half was impressive.

My only real complaints are the trees.....
