Time to update the numbers again! Gone back and tweaked all the actual numbers with most current VGChartz figures...

I continue to undetrack weekly sales - and probably will this week again.

Shams: (undertracked) 2740k vrs 3289k, by approx 550k 

Zucas: (undertracked) 3075k vrs 3289k, by approx 220k 

TWRoO: (undertracked) 2925k vrs 3289k, by approx 350k

...

All three of us are expecting approx 2.5m sales in last 3 weeks (TWRoO expects 200k more), which would basically bring the Wii to just shy of 19m sold by 1st Jan '08.

Can Ninty pull some magic (stock) out of the "bag", and deliver an extra 500k-1m units to the market?

(you could consider 1st Jan '08 the first week ending INTO '08 - and they could well do another 500k-600k for that week - getting them REAL close to 20m, around the week ending 5th Jan '08).

It seems like the 850k numbers for this past week would be impossible to hit. This week should be interesting though. Will some stores hold stock till boxing day?

Ok new numbers.... Wii actually decreases this week solely on the stock situation in USA... next week will pull it back in line.

total consoles sold so far for the 8 weeks: 3,980,806 (3981k when adding the rounded numbers above)

Shams  591k underestimated  (closest for this weeks esitimate)
Zucas  56k underestimated  (very close indeed)
TWRoO  206k underestimated

it seems like we will all be significantly under next week, at least by 100k if not more than 300k... and i do believe my last weeks number should closest of the three estimates... so it looks like 6 million+ for the 10 weeks.

(also i noticed that the dates the comparison charts have are Mondays for some reason.... 2 days out of sync with America/others and 1 day out for Japan.... but the numbers are the same so it must be a mistake)

I got closer for this week - but will lose out next week. I guess I got the dates slightly wrong, and should have rolled more of the sales from the final week into next week.

The final week WILL have Xmas-eve, and last (2 days) shopping though - and post-Xmas shopping, which is huge in Australia for starters.

@shams... yeah that's why i said i would be closest for that last week,... I suppose it could be 950k, which would be directly between your and my estimates.

Nice accuracy so far :) This week's Wii sales will blow us away if ioi is correct with his 600k Sunday/USA estimate for the Wii

Do you guys think this and last week's sales added together will be the same for USA and Europe? I hope so, although I'm thinking that USA will get the bigger shipment for some reason.

@NJ5, good point... last weeks total other = 350k... i would guess 400k+ for this week so maybe 750-800k

I guess no, America will be higher by 50-150k.

If i take your words literally though, then i should exclude Canada from America, and Australia and "other" from total other, but whether that would mak much difference i don't know.
