So if you buy a Wii on Amazon.com, you get a $25 gift card with the Wii. Of course that is going to increase sales. Here are the details from the Amazon.com Wii page, "September 27, 2009 to October 3, 2009." So, the Wii must be brought around that time frame.

Cool chart. The GCN dropped its price the fastest. But indeed the poor dreamcast just fell down in a slope.
