You can't say something is over tracked or undertracked without any proof, getting your bias into it is just going to make things worse *this goes for every person*

NPD doesn't undertrack anybody, I have been watching NPD for years and their numbers are very good, like I said they are independent, they don't benefit from changing numbers, they benefit from keeping their numbers as accurate as possible.

NPD doesn't track walmart, and they estimate walmart sales when they make there numbers..

Anyway, I meant vgc had ps3 undertracked last month in comparison to NPD, and had the 360 spot on.

why? because sony said they SOLD 24M Ps3 worldwide according to their retailers the last GamesCon.

but Microsoft said they SHIPPED 31M 360 worldwide at the end of August.

so imo, the ps3 is right now at the 24.8/25.1M mark and the 360 is at the 30.9M mark.

Microsoft sold 28 Million Xbox 360's by the end of last year, there is no way we are in september and Microsoft have shipped 3 Million consoles since January, be realistic.
