Out of interest, what is ioi's favourite console which he always makes up large numbers for? Is it the Wii? If so, why would the Wii be at the bottom for that week?

Also, why did they use Americas numbers when we have WW numbers available? To make a point?

I hope they make another worldwide article for 5th September's numbers.

Because there has been a time on VGC where EVERY console has seemed to be doing bad (except for DS)......

PS3 in 2007/2009

Xbox 360 in 2008

Wii now in parts of 2009

PSP every year

so like in maths if we cancel all of that cancels out any chances of a bias being there!

Here is the thing.

VGchartz is a weekly reminds that the PS3 and 360 aren't in first place... to give it credit would be to have to make a post about it... every week.  Every week a reminder of how crappy your console is doing compared to the Wii... which you've convinced yourself is something that nobody actually wants to play.

VS NPD which happens once a month and can mostly be ignored outside of the occasionally 360 vs PS3 battle.

This is of course not counting Gaf... whose reasons for hating VGchartz are pretty well known.
