A friend of mine has been putting this off since the launch of the PS3. He said back in 06, if it was 299.99 he'd get one. We are now going in on the 24th for a PS3 slim for him.

what kind of memory card do i need to backup all my saved game data? can i just use a usb to transfer it to my computer?

Actually Price cuts/competition are rarely good for the industry, but good for the consumer.
yeah leo, i mean that because officially tomorrow, ps3 is 300$, I would've gotten 270$ today, but not tomorrow.
Oh well then you better go fast, and you can use anything, a FLASH DRIVE, a memory card, a big one and hold your saves/DATA the ps3 has a backup utility for that.
Then sell it and get your slim =D
