How about there be a new rule...no more ASKING Gabe Newell about PS3...this is getting to be riddiculous...why don't we get them asking PS3 3rd developers about their multi-plat plans...why...nobody wants to play their games?

Because clearly, Sony's deal with Insomniac, Sucker Punch etc. is contractual. Valve has no deal with Microsoft, they just don't want to waste resources for little gain. This can be interpreted as laziness, and in a way, it is. They would certainly profit on a PS3 version, right?

Do you have a link?  Because the CEO of Insomniac was in Game Informer last year, and he said they were not, they jsut were busy working on the ps3...same darn thing Gabe is saying, but as usual, you get the double standard, where nobody makes a fuss, or EVEN questions those guys, but Valve get the same darn question in every interview...STOP ASKING!

Even if money isn't involved, Insomniac have ties with Sony. Sony have helped them, own all of their current IPs, and Insomniac have never developed on a non-Sony platform. I have no problem with Bungie staying exclusive, even if there wasn't a contract. It's just what they are familiar with.

Valve, on the other hand, are clearly doing it because they can't be bothered, they have no ties with Microsoft at all, and if they think developing on fewer platforms because of Gabe Newell's unwarranted spite for Sony is going to get them more money, good for them. I don't want a console Valve game.

@Kantor...You might not want a console Valve game...but they are available...Xbox brought the Big PC names into the consoles...why are you surprised or why would anyone be surprised that Xbox 360 is leading the charge for game companies who only developed for pc....at one point...plus..like always..Valve's games are top tier..on Xbox 360 they displa a finesse which will new comers to valve games not think about a PC...And MS will sure keep them coming..
