If I speak quickly and make random references it is funny, right?
Of course not. Anyone can speak quickly and make random references. The difference between this and comedy is talent, which he lacks. Who cares if the review is not that funny if it accurately summarizes the game. Unfortunately this review is as accurate as the Flat Earth Society. (See I made a random reference. Maybe I can review the next game for his website.) Unfortunately, I lack a British accent, but I can use a New York accent which is just as funny.

In my honest opinion, while much of what he says is exaggerated for comedic effect, the bulk of what he says about each game is true, albiet heavily opinionated. I don't think he makes up anything false just for the sake of a laugh, and that's why I still consider him to be a reviewer, and a fairly competent one at that. Strip out all the jokes, and you're left with a guy giving his opinion about a game.

Not his best, i'm found his reviews a little flat lately, like he's losing enthusiasm for it all.

Sure that's the reaction of some, but I still watch him and think he's funny even after he tore Valkyria Chronicles a new asshole.  People have to understand that he really isn't a reviewer, but more an opiniated comedian.  He hates 90% of the games he plays.

Well, he hate the game. He just nitpick an aspect and turns into something bad.

wow neever new everybody hated him now, while i may take issue with some of the things he says, i alway enjoy his rants, its nice to come home and watch.
also if i remember right he loved a particular action adventure game on the wii, which is pretty rare for him to love any game id point to this as not hating the wii, but more hating what developers put out

and as for miss all features, he does that fairly often and misses major points of some releases or ignores them, but thats not the point of these reviews, its to enjoy the far to serious review process in a kind of montypython esk way

you people seem to take him, and reviews way to seriously

 

edit i think it would help if he was moved to once every two weeks its got to be a pain to turn games a round once a week...

The control might not be up to PC standards, but it is certainly better than any FPS on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

He gives a shitty review to....wait for it....EVERY game he plays. Quit getting bent out of shape, it's just a joke
