it is like making a game on the WW1 or the WW2 or even the World Trade center explosion considering how people have suffered from these events !!!!

My god! Hopefully no one will ever do that!

I've never heard of this Jefferson fella nor heard of this before you brought it to my attention.

Is Houston Chronicles a newspaper with a huge readership? Does the said readership adhere to the views of said Jefferson?

I've read much much worse in the mainstream media than this.

But yeah, as far as entertainment goes, this particular one is an irritant. If you really care, write a letter of complaint to him and he might read it and it might even get published.

well, too bad Samus Aran was banned, I would have preferred that someone starts to debating with him proving he is right or wrong. It would have been interesting. Netherless, I can't really say I support his words ...

About Katrina and L4D2, the problem is not the black zombie, the problem is the black zombie considering the setting of the game. Also, it is more a question of respect about the victim (that were mostly black but not only) than a question of racism !!!

it is like making a game on the WW1 or the WW2 or even the World Trade center explosion considering how people have suffered from these events !!!!

At the end, some poeple are still too much "race focused" ... too bad for them.

EDIT : I forget to mention I have thus no problem with L4D2 ...

You can't debate ignorant people. I mean, really, this is a guy that believes that black people in Africa were just stupid, period. And then, white people kept them stupid. Back in the early centuries, we ALL had the same level of intelligence, in our respective worlds. And that's all we needed. So in that since, everyone was "smart". They knew what they needed to know to survive. Europeans branching out across the world (as much as it helped shape the world today) was what changed everything. But just because they did that branching out doesn't therefore turn Africans stupid (or rather, "made" stupid, then afterwards, "kept" stupid). Quote: "Black people being not as smart is a fault of their own"

Do you really want to argue with someone like that, as easily as it would be to prove him wrong? You could prove him wrong on every aspect of the debate, and he would still push his ignorant point forward. He's lucky he wasn't permabanned, but he should've been

HUGE readership. Houston has over 5 million people living in it and this is the only newspaper for it. Then, you also have to factor the smaller cities that also get it because they're within an hour or two from Houston.

"that black people in Africa were just stupid"
Well, I think he used "dumb".

Whatever, perhaps, what mister Samus Aran wanted to say is that African people were lacking knowledge and technology, explaining why it was possible for europeans to use them as slaves, to stop them from learning, and to ultimately "steal" Africa.

When Samus Aran claimed :"Black people being not as smart is a fault of their own", he perhaps means : "black people were lacking knowledge before europeans come to Africa, it is not du to european countries". That doesn't reduce the way european countries are guilty for slavery.

Neverthless, I agree that he was clearely too harsh in the form.

Do you really want to argue with someone like that, as easily as it would be to prove him wrong?
Was he truly wrong ? Since he was banned, we will never know.
In any case, stoping a discussion, a debat is really the worst thing that could happen in my opinion.
