I avoided this thread until I discovered that d21lewis left VGC because of something posted in it. Then I read this and felt compelled to provide an answer. As a political science major, one of the subjects I have studied is political development in West Africa. There are a few examples of great kingdoms that originated in Sub-Saharan Africa. I stress Sub-Saharan Africa for a reason: it is known as the land of the blacks. While there is debate about the race(s) of the Egyptians, there is no doubt that a political entity originating in Sub-Saharan Africa is black. For me, the most enjoyable kingdom to study was the Mali Empire. The Mali Empire was a massive empire that contained approximately 43 million people. It was quite wealthy. In fact, the hajj of Mansa Musa, mansa (emperor) of Mali, was famous for the amount of wealth and splendor displayed by his court. Reportedly, he spent and donated so much gold in Cairo that it depressed the price of gold for approximately a decade. He also incorporated and expanded the famous city of Timbuktu. Timbuktu is home to the prestigious Sankore University and was a major contributor to Islamic civilization.

I read through the whole thread and really saw this whole thing pointless to be honest. Video games are art and fictional, none of it is real. I am bi-racial. I have a mixture of all races so I really don't find any of this offensive at all. I just find it strange that this whole thread has been de-railed to racial attacks and such.

If there is a black zombie in the game, oh well get over it, there is white zombies also and we shoot and kill them. What's the the problem if its the other way around?

People, especially samus aran need to grow up. Some of his info could be true but it was certainly uncalled for at the same time.

d21lewis, I strongly think you should come back. It was just a debate and you had no reason to leave VGChartz because of some idiot that choosed to run rampage on racial comments. You are an awesome member to this site and a really true contributor. By the way I own Bee The Movie game and its a freaking awesome game and fun at the same time. But anyway, come back bro!

ugh, while I may not particulararly enjoy the guy, I got the gist of what he was saying, read the posts I made right after he said things, he's not being racist you prick. Sure he could word things a little better, but if you are to stupid to figure out he's not slamming black people, then I say good riddance, we don't need your kind here.

I checked this guy’s profile, and under education it has “more then you will ever have”. I also see that he is banned.

Isn’t the definition if dumb, the lack of ability to absorb information? His guy has been given more information they you or I will ever have, and yet… seems not to have absorbed it.

Seeing as the last statement you made was nullified by my pointing out that I was using sarcasm in my profile...I guess this one is irrelevant as well. 

Just some observations. You all can come to your own conclusions. I would not want to insult anyone directly, as I understand what it takes to get banned. :)

Nor do I , but when somebody doesn't take the time to read posts explaining poorly worded posts...I have no patience. Especially when they concern something as heated as racism.

@ ShadowSoldier. I'm afraid nothing racist was ever said by either Samus, or myslef...if you actually took the time to read what I said, you would understand that. I was rephrasing what Samus said because he writes like he never passed fifth grade writing courses. 

On a side note, Samus really should not have been banned (I don't like the guy...but  I must side with him on this topic), if you took the time to try and decifer his posts, you would see that he was not meaning anything he said in a racist way.

@ mods...close the damn thread before somebody else says something that is misinterprited as racism and gets needlessly banned.
