A. Not every 360 sold is 199, or even the vast majority.

B. The gamecube was cheaper than the PS2, and it had better graphics.

C. The PS3 has massive amounts of "value" going for it, in the eyes of the consumer.

D. The xbox 360 is 1 year later in its lifecycle than is the PS3.

E. This is an excuse used to explain why a cold hard fact exists. aka Damage control. I could do the same. "Without RRoD, the 360 would outsell the PS3 2 to 1." Might be true, might not. Doesn't excuse the fact that it is speculative damage control, and completely irrelivant.

The Ps3 has outsold the gamecube & at no point did the gamecube outsell the PS2 for months & month like the PS3 has outsold Xbox 360. At no point were gamecube sales above PS2 sales at aligned launches. At no point was the gamecube even enar PS2's install base in ANY region.

The fact that you are even comparing the situations is ludicrous......I didn't expect you to make such a vital error!

If you meant before I consider the PS3 in trouble... that's hard to say. What does "in trouble" mean? Clearly they're already in trouble competition-wise.
