after i beat ghostbusters , i want too truly get into one of these 2 srpg's. but i cant make up my mind, i have played disgaea 3 and valkyria both before and i really liked what i played. i just cant decide which one deserves my time and effort 1st .

any suggestions?

Valkyria Chronicles is a better experience, Disgaea 3 will probably take up more of your time when it's all said and done and is obviously funnier.

I aint played the full game yet.

But just playing the demo for Valkyria Chronicles gives me a wet patch.

Disagea is cheaper. So it might better...sry Robotech i can't do that to you buy Valkryia Chronicles

Valkyria Chronicles is the more epic story, but chances are you'll get more play time from D3, but Valkyria has over 80 hours of gameplay WITHOUT the DLC so thats alot to.

I own Disgaea 3. It's a good game. There's a lot of stuff going on, combo making wise. Because I haven't played VC, I would have to say Disgaea. It's worth the $30.

It seems you can get VC for $40 from best buy. You have to snap it up for that price.

I own both titles and I loved Valkyria Chronicles. The story was pretty good and the combat was fun and felt fresh.

So I will have to go with Disgaea 3.

Come on! What other game will allow you to witness a character manage to place a gigantic egg dish on top of another character's head without him noticing?

I love games that have 2D sprites too, so my answer is a tad bit biased.
