A $300 Blu-ray player which happens to play games and download HD movies/shows? how about when it its $250 or $225? he assumes this generation will end in 2011 or something, like MS would have made any money enough out of the 360 by then to be in position to replace it with a new console. Ridiculous. Both companies are in this for the long run, and I honestly can't see how the 360 is overacheiving anything just by being the cheapest console in its 4th/peak year. |

Follow the bread crumbs, and the conclusion is thoroughly logical. By the end of next year the PS3 will be fifteen to twenty million behind the 360. Fourth does anyone think we are going to move beyond the PS3 will win once this happens crap is going to end this year or next year. Seriously it really has gotten old. |

There can be many price cuts that'll offer some big boost (since it's still $400 and $500,and the X360 cost $200 yet the sales are almost neck and neck with the PS3....not good), a Slim will make the PS3 outsell the Wii week after week in Japan and will greatly improve sales in other parts of the world. Also the PS3 has it's biggest games still to come (FFXIII, FFVXIII, FFXIV, GT5, GoW3 etc (<--damn good line up)). Yup sales are just going to keep going up, up and up (10 year plan plays a big part in everything aswell to keep the PS3 selling good for a long time). Another thing the X360 has been out for a year longer then the Wii and PS3 (remember) so I'd say if the X360 hasn't peaked last year it'll definitely peak this year. |
