If they make a Monster Hunter for PS3 and Square puts KH3 on PS3 too, then the PS3 will sell over 12 million units in Japan this gen.

final thought for this thread:

If Capcom can make Lost Planet 2 for PS3/X360, then Capcom is definitely skillful enough to make Monster Hunter for HD consoles. Why won't they do that? Because HD consoles is not as popular in Japan yet and the western gamers just DON'T CARE about Monster Hunter games. That's why Capcom is putting so much resources TRYING to push the Monster Hunter games in the western market. Of course Capcom needs to heavily advertise MH3 Wii in Japan, Capcom can't afford to let MH3 Wii bomb in Japan. Can you imagine if MH3 Wii failed in Japan, what would happen to the western release for this game. Oh yes, don't forget that Capcom and Niinteno will charge you to play co-op for MH3.

This is the evidence that western gamers don't care about MH games: E3, 2009
