Forums - Microsoft - E3 is over...Crow anyone.

Before I beggin let me just say that this years E3 was great I loved it. The games that both sony and ms showed(I dont have a wii) have got me really excited about this year and next.

The main part of this is to address something that was brought up many times buy certain people(and websites) before E3 and that is the 360 is maxed out graphicly.

After seeing games like Forza 3 and Alan Wake and although we havent seen anything about crysis 2 and the new metal gear I'll put them in anyway can we now say that those people were wrong. Its easy to see that the 360 is not graphicly maxed out like people said before E3 and that it still has juice left. Do you think these people will be man enough to admit that they were wrong or do you think that they will ignore what they said or keep saying it?

It's interesting, based on the poly-counts for Forza 3 (average of 550,000 per car) times by the framerate (60) times by the number of cars on screen (8) gives us 264,000,000 polygons per second (that's in millions btw) which is 14 million above what the RSX is theoretically capable of producing on screen.

So factually and mathmatically, "just" the cars of Forza 3 is beyond the Playstation 3.

INSANE!

I agree E3 was great. The graphics were great and not maxed out.

I agree that ppl were wrong about 360 it push much further in terms of graphics

as for this guy^^....Is this like the 360 fanboy version of crazzyman here in VGC? seriously....

This seems to be a common theme among some posters on the site recently.

The great crusade to prove the 360 isn't maxed out. Or the constant effort to prove the 360 and PS3 are close in terms of power.

I'm aware that some of you may be simply trying to disprove false statements, or misleading propaganda that's been floating around. But honestly, some of you seem to have some sort of inferiority complex with your white box.

How about some crow for everyone who said ME2 would be on PS3... or MGS4 would be on 360.

Or maybe even some crow for Turn 10 when they said Forza 3 will be the definative racing sim... only to get outshone by GT:Portable.

Did it not occur to you that Forza 3 had less cars than GT5 Portable?

Yeah, it's still not maxed out.

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

it was stupid in the begining...

Red Faction Maxed out PS3!!!!

Tekken 6 Maxed out the 360!!!!

It's already pretty well known that 360 has the better GPU of the two systems.

I'd just like to add that polygon count isn't always key to great looking games, but using the polygons efficiently is. The car models in both GT5 and F3 look identical to me...
