I saw tons of really high scores for this game, so I went out and bought it.

I'm 24 years old... this game does NOT suit me at all. I dont mind the kiddie platformer theme to it. But I do not like the gameplay. It's sluggish compared to old school platformers. The 3-step gameplay is kind of broken and you will very often accidentally miss your jump. The user created content is BETTER than the actual game content. Ugh. I dont see how this game was reviewed so highly.

That's the premise of the game......smh

The feature that was most praised was the level editor so if you want to say something about it first try to make some levels or play with friends.

play it with someone.

this is like playing Wii Sports by yourself. its not fun alone.

Expected more exitement, but still, it was funny to play

Yeah, it's not for everyone :)

I think a lot depends on whether or not the style appeals to you... if it does you'll probably play some online, make some friends, explore some awesome homemade levels (and take it from someone who's played 100+ hours, there is A LOT of variety out there, and I'm not talking about those lame music levels that noobs will tell you about) and that will define the experience. It's not really worth the effort to convince people they should like the game though, because it definitely is a more active experience than most games... everything revolves around either exploration (usually best with friends) or creation.

By the way, if you want to find some cool levels, look up someone on the site within the game (by their PSN) and you can browse through ALL of their bookmarked levels. That's by far the best way to find the good stuff. My PSN is Alic44.

It's all about the multiplayer... and creating your own stuff, for those interested.

Seriously, few games have made mutliplayer so seamless, and the joy of the game for me comes from inviting a couple of friends from my friends list to play with me, then knocking them into a pit of fire the first chance I get so I can nab some points before them.

For me, its all about dragging my friends around and slapping them up a bit while we slowly make our way through a level. We may fail the level a few times because of our shenanigans, but it was still a blast failing.

Hell, I remember one night when a few of us went back to my pod before going offline, and we ended up just messing around in the pod while chatting about stuff for over an hour before finally going to bed.

I have played this game far longer than any other game this gen, and its easily my favorite game released since Twilight Princess.

I disagree. LBP is in my opinion the best PS3 games out there. I love to play this game with my 3 year old son.

Sackboy is AWESOME. This being said, LBP isn't going to be for everyone. I like and still own it, despite Tetrin.jp being removed (and other name).

No, its just not your game.

Best PS3 game overrated?!?!?! Blasphemy!!!

Seriously for a moment, I love the game the whole reason I bought the PS3, I can play user created maps for hours on end, and playing with friends is so much fun, I took a 360 lover and took him from "that game looks like crap" to "I kinda like this this is fun" to "When I finally get a PS3 this is the first game I'm getting" LBP converts yet another one ^^
