Forums - Nintendo - if only nintendo wouldnt make the same games over and over again

I think if the the RTS was imbedded into the game it would be fine. Zelda has minigames all over it so what would be the harm in incorporating a RTS minigame that actually adds to the storyline? Fin. Fan. has done it and it hasn't wrecked the RPG.

if it were embedded into the game, that's fine. but i don't think making the entire game itself an MMO or RTS is

best for the series.

I got to say you got balls creating this thread.

Well, he does have a point, however all developers do it and Nintendo knows how to win, and these games are always excellent anyway.

Well I dont mind them bringing out the same Zelda, Mario, etc, games every year. A change hoewever would be nice, not neccessary, but a bonus.

1. Peach (although posessed by a demon) is the final boss in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

At least when I mentioned this I did so without mentioning the game as not to spoil it for people who haven't played it yet. :/

Though the end of the mario games may always be similar (save a princess, save the world), the actual gameplay varies from game to game. Nintendo has always been good at repeating the basic storyline but keeping the gaming fresh.

The only problem is that the moment that they change any of their flagship tittles drastically everyone would complain "OH NOES THEY ARE ABANDONING THEIR ROOTS!" "NINTENDO HATES ITS OLD FANS" etc...

remember when Halo wars came out, and like 50% of halo fans hated it, now imagine if it was halo 4? that would kill the series stone cold.

Let me also point out that based on your argument, you must be really getting tired of Guitar Hero, you've essentially played the same game how many times now?

^^ only to some extent. it was fun in 2007, now it's just dragged on too far

I'm pretty sure plenty of people disagree, me included. It's your opinion and I respect it but you can't really talk for everyone. Why do you think people still buy Nintendo games and consoles? The first reason usually is for those first party titles. If Nintendo brings on a new Zelda trailer this E3, you can be assured that there will be tons of people that will be extremely happy about this.

^^ im not talking about the games, im talking about these dumb assed threads about nintendo's franchises

you stole her boyfriend? nope

shes cheating on you with bowser? nope

Shes possessed? Yup

:]

Ninty is a culprit of this, but at least the games are always good.
