I'd say that punch out will outsell Killzone 2 LTD for sure. But who cares about first week because we all know wii games are all about the legs. Nintendos profit from punch out will be much, much better than sonys for killzone 2. 1.58 million won't be hard at all for a punch out to pass.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

I bet that by the end of the year, Punch-Out!! will be above Killzone 2 in sales.

Well, it has potential of reaching great sales, maybe not massive but at least good look

  • It's the first budget Nintendo game of the year
  • It will have a big advertising (probably due to the first reason)
  • There won't be another Nintendo game until WSR
  • Nintendo is finally starting noticing that 1 or 2 games in half of the year isn't enough

Maybe not all of those reason justify expecting a Lifetime sales of 5 millions or some of those reasons won't even affect the game, but the point is that it have potential of have great sales.

the marketing budget for this thing is huge. if early reviews ar eto be believed this game is more of a Brawl than a super mario strikers and will be marketed as such. quite shocking really. i mean who predicted this would be nintendo's 'killzone 2' as it were

How was i being negitive. I was rating the nintendo franchises by popularity.
Mario and Zelda would be A list
Donky Kong and Star Fox would be B list.
Fire Emblem would be C list
Punch out would be D list.

This has nothing to do woith how good the games are. Hell i think Fire Emblem is better than most games.
