I think that the game will not get very high scores: this time it's not because it's on Wii, but because it's a very niche title. It really feels old school, at least judging by the videos, and I don't know how many reviewers will like this. For example, reading IGN's preview, Casamassina didn't seem very excited. I think it will end up having a 82 media. But I do not care, it's a sequel to my second favourite game ever and probably my game of the year.

Find a reviewer or site you find aligns with your tastes and ignore the rest. You'll be happier. Everyone will be happier. Stop worrying about review scores.

Yeah, I repeat, I did like Eurogamer, but they have been terrible recently.

I think I'll never find a site which may be good to my tastes

reviews? meh. I stopped caring about reviews some time ago because they act more and more elitist and childish.

Thing is I doubt they will give this game something bigger than an 8 even if it deserves something higher. They just can't low to give a wii a high score. They did it only for Mario Galaxy and I bet they went running to the shower crying ;P

Serioulsy, I am dying to play this game! It looks so cool!

Serioulsy, I am dying to play this game! It looks so cool!

I'm not convinced that there's some consipiracy afoot to score Wii games lower. Most worthwhile Wii games seem to score quite well. There are a few that end up underrated, but that's not some phenomenon exclusive to the Wii. If anything, many HD games end up reviewing higher than they should, but Wii games end up about right. Maybe by comparison they seem to deserve something higher, but I don't see that as the case.

Apparently in the Title Defense mode the fighters have learned from their past mistakes, so they try to play to their strengths and really work on their weaknesses. For example... spoiler... King Hippo will wear a manhole strapped to his gut!

This game is the Brawl of Punch-Out!!. It's just full of additional content and fanservice.
