Not that AC is a bad game but that was not the great game many N-fans were expecting (or atleast on GT);

True, most everyone was expecting a bigger, more 'core' title, or titles, but fact remains that Nintendo never spoke about any Mario, Zelda, Metroid or Kid Icarus. At all. They merely called it a 'big game', which both the core and the expanded audience would like. Reggie spoke the truth, even though many people were expecting something different.

But also everyone knew AC was coming it was never a secret but Nintendo acted like it was so it was misleading.

The mystery of it all is getting me hyped, though my expectations aren't all that "epic." My hope is mostly pinned on Factor 5 and Retro Studios.

there is noway that there is a new zelda or mario this year, they might show some teasers but most likely 2010 at least, if I'm wrong, then I'd be impressed.

I can't wait for Nintendo's E3 Conference either

 

I think this year there will be at least one major announcement concerning the Wii. Particulary I hope for the first footage of the new Legend of Zelda. A new Metroid would be awesome as well and after the ending of the last one, I am pretty sure the Metroid Prime Series might continue in some way.

 

I believe that there is also a possibility that they have something up their sleves nobody thinks of at first...maybe a new Star Fox, Earthbound, Pilotwings or an old school Donkey Kong Country? All of the four would be awesome and I guess many, many gamers around the world would die to see such a game on the Wii.

 

Well, but of course it might happen that Nintendo's E3 performance is as dissapointing as the last one. But to be honest, I don't think so: looking at the current situation (thekitchensink pointet the most important points out), they have to act or they might lose their momentum.

 

So let's all hope the best. And I'm damn sure Big N won't let us down this year
