I would be worried if I were you. I'm sure the company you bought the merchandise from knows that they were never payed, and they will try to get their money.

Meh, the worst they could do is make him pay for it. Not like he tried to steal it or commit fraud so there's no criminal activity and they could get in huge trouble if they sent a collection agency after him without prior warning. MY guess is you'll never hear from the again.

Actually, it's sad to say he does know he wasn't charged because the charge was denied. If he doesn't contact the store and the CC company he could theoretically be charged with credit fraud even if he didn't know. More reasonably and likely they will contac thim and make him pay for it.

@fazz,

lol, I have told the story a number of times before and nobody ever believes it so I have come to terms with the fact that the story is (almost by definition) unbelievable.

But it did in fact happen to me.

How is this credit fraud? I didn't steal nor try to steal anything, for all I know I payed for it.

If anything happens I just say "I didn't know that it haden't gone through"

Besides they got my signature of purchase, legally I can walk away and never have to pay a cent even if they proved it never went through, I signed an official document of purchase.

Some of you people know nothing saying this is fraud, please define what you mean other then just stating crap like that.

Correction...you signed an INTENT to purchase.  That is what all cards are...they are not cash.  They are a promise you make to the store that you can take the merchandise from the store without supplying actual money because you have given that store permission to remove that money from your bank.  A credit card is no different.  So yes, the worst they will probably do is ask for the money, but you better cooperate when they contact you and be as speedy and obedient as possible.  They will run you though the cleaners, just because they can.  Your PSP isn't worth paying major fines or going through the headache of having your credit go to pot.

Not to mention the fact that most people would feel bad if they accidentally walked out of a store with a pack of gum.....you...not you...you get so giddy excited that you have to run and yell it through the internets...nice style.

it is sqrl!

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

If it was a fault on their end, I wouldn't feel guilty (and even that is debatable), but this is your own error. What is wrong with you?

My error? Get real idiot, how is this my error?

And sounds like super_etecoon is just jealous, and if they contact me of course I would pay it, I had every intention to in the first place, keep your negative bullshit out.

Why would I be jealous...that you got a PSP?   That is some good stuff.  $300 isn't crap, btw...and it certainly isn't worth going through this headache.  It is your fault because you went over the limit on your card.  Hmmm....customer can't do math right, blames store...nice.

And as far as my negativity goes...I forgot...this was the thread where you get to gloat about STEALING a PSP from a store and how you just got your GOLDEN TICKET.  Woot.

You will be getting a phonecall, I guarantee you.
