I can't take ZP reviews legitimately anymore... It seems he just likes to bitch about anything he can find now... He seems to hate the Wii, and talked waaaaaay too much shit about MadWorld. And he said that the daytime levels sucked in Sonic Unleashed (BULLSHIT) Lastly, he seems to think every shooter should do health-regeneration...

So from what I've read in this thread if developers starts to do 1hours long Fps and 5hours long Rpgs that would be ok because we have multiplayer and it would take a lot more time to find the ultimate sword for all are characters right

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

@Gnac

If there was definition of OWNED your post would be it.

This is like when my friend complained of to me of Left 4 Dead being too short because he only played 1 episode.

Twesterm, you got pwned man.

How did I get pwned?  Because I like value for my games and everyone has shown me that I'm clearly wrong and shouldn't get my money worth?

I'm not even gonna bother wasting my time to that blind blanket statement bias.  Seriously dude you need to make a real argument in your posts.

lol, "blind blanket statement bias?"

You won't respond to my arguments because you can't. My assumptions are absolutely right, and directly contradict your simplistic argument. Your response appears to me as a cop-out. It's a way for you to keep posting in this thread without having to address direct contradictions in your logic.

You implied that a games quality is determined in part by the length of a single storymode playthrough.

I think you are absolutely wrong.

I think that games like Overkill, Contra, Wii Sports, LBP, and MK:Wii aren't at all dependant on their play time. I think they are games built with replayability and unlockables in mind. I think there are a million examples of great games that aren't dependant on a factor such as time limits.

I think you are the one who generalized and used blind blanket statement bias, when you implied that several ports/demos were equal in value to Overkill, simply based off your limited knowledge of their runtime, and not on any other factors that determine the quality, excellence, or lackthereof of any one particular game.

You have no argument, no response, and you were and still are completely wrong, in this instance, imho.

Dodging my questions isn't going to make people not read them. I suggest trying to confuse the issue with an overlong meaningless post that nitpicks things like my grammar, typos, and other things nonessential to your implication that this game is somehow inferior because it's "too short." You could also mention how rediculious I am, and ask me several times if "I'm serious," as if I'm the one at fault here, and not your illogical flamebait posts from earlier in this thread. Your implication lacks insight.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

1. It's one of the best core games on the Wii.
2. It succeeds at humor. Few games do.
3. It has infinite replayability, because it is a bridge title. That means it can be a core game or a party game.
4. It is a great experience, and worth playing through. That can't be said for most new releases.
5. Yhatzee said it was better than Killzone 2.
6. It reinvigorated a dying genre, which many other games have tried and failed to reinvigorate.
6. All games in that genre are short. It's in their nature.
7. Despite its length, the game still garnered great reviews from almost everyone, because of the points I've listed.

IMO, you're getting a bargin.

Notice the lack of arrogance and flaming in my post. I'm doing much better.

Haha, you're doing much better Zen.

But the arrogance and flaming (even if pointed at me) is what makes you amusing.  ;_;

lol, I KNOW!

However, I have been warned to shape up or ship out, so I have been trying really hard to be the shepherd.

The tyrrany of evil men, however, is a feisty shrew.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Development costs != playing time length. I am sure Overkill had a bunch of development time put in it. Eventhough it is on the short side, it still took them awhile to develop, and Sega needs to try to make a profit.
