There's going to be ALOT of people in this thread pretty embarassed with what they've said in this thread when it comes to ODST. Anyone who thinks this game isn't going to be massive is crazy. Its Halo FPS and its going to be budget priced. You do the math.

In terms of sales then no there is no game on the ps3 that stands a chance of outselling ODST this holiday season unless GT5 is released. Halo FPS are the Xbox's bread and butter. Quality is a whole different argument though.

Yeah each game probably won't outsell Halo, I am like 90% 100% sure that none of them will, but they are still looking forward to those 4-5 games while the ones calling them desperate are looking at 1 game at the moment.

I find it more desperate to play sales than to play games.

Although this is indeed the sales forums so yeah, nothing will outsell Halo ODST this season on the PS3.

This is VG Chartz. Sales apply to everything concerning videogames here. I agree about having 4-5 games leading the way. The majority of my pre-orders are PS3 anyway. That could change after E3 though.

I disagree. I believe the sales are for the "Sales discussion" forum area, seeing the fact that they actually made a seperate area for that talk. I doubt it was made for toaster oven sales or the latest GM figures. That is why the topic creator placed this thread here. He was trying to discuss sales.

In the Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo discussion areas you make threads to talk about anything Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo related. Yes it could be sales related but that doesn't mean that when someone makes a Killzone 2 thread to talk about gameplay that it is alright to pop in and drop some sales numbers or talk about it not reaching "expectations". This happens all the time in all forum areas and people quickly reply "This is a sales site".

Anyways I don't feel like going into a rant, I have a dinner to go to.

I hope E3 is great for everyone. It just means more games for me to play.

halo series has no limits, its the best fps on the console side period and its not being overused as some ppl think. its only had 3 games in the main series over 8 years so far and 1 game in the rts genre where the game actually started. thats a good spreading of the series i think and the 4th installment of the series is a couple of years away i think, so halo will continue to grow more and more popular as the series matures.

Its not 2007 kid, might want to take a look at recent multi platform releases.

If anything MS has no anwser to all of Sony's games so they keep crapping out halos these days.  Whats next Halo rpg and Halo 100AD Master Chief vs Jesus.

Whats MS counter to Uncharted2 Mag and especially GOW3 ?????  Halo aint it thats for sure.
