I know no one on this site seemed to care when I pointed out several times that EA didn't make NCAA Football 2008 for the Wii. To me, it is a big deal, because it is the only sports title I buy every year.

It seems the Wii is now missing out on the first EA sports titles to have online leagues, NHL 08. NHL 2K8 from Sega is also not on the Wii. Both games are on the Xbox, 360, PS3, and PS2, but not the Wii.

Of note, Sony's MLB 08: The Show had online leagues months ago. EA is catching on to the big criticism Madden had this year.

It seems to me that EA (and now Sega) are really screwing over Wii owners here, or does no Wii owner play sports games?

Sports games by EA (except for golf) haven't sold well on Wii. Perhaps Ea didn't think it would be worth the time/money to port the games to the Wii.

Madden 07 and tiger woods 07 sold pretty well.

SSX blur and tiger 08 have done OK so far.

The only one that bombed was madden 08

There seems to be this crazy correlation between a game being rubbish and it's sales. Madden Wii, for instance, was a bugfest...

I hate trolls.

Yeah I did notice it. I would love a version of NHL 08 for the Wii since it's the only form of hockey I really like.

I guess they don't want my money or something.

The demo for NHL 08 is 10x better looking then 2k8 and the shoting and animations are way better then 2K8 so i don't see how EA is screwing anyone except the wii owners that will not purchase the sports games.
