Fixed.

I've heard only bad things about the first game but this one is very pretty. Well these pics at least.

First of all the trailer that you saw was in LQ. There is another trailer from their website that is in HQ and believe me this is a gorgeous game and the characters are nowhere near dollface like Star Ocean 4 characters were. Second of all the combat system from the first Magna Carta is completely different for Magna Carta 2 (Magna Carta 2 is in real time). Also even though Magna Carta 1 had horrible gameplay it had a great storyline with some of the best plot twists i have seen in a jrpg on the PS2. As long as the new combat system turns out to be great and they keep the same person who wrote the storyline for the first Magna Carta this could turn out to be one hell of a jrpg.

Famitsu says they've made significant changes to the battle system. The only complaint I heard about Magna Carta, haven't played it, is the battle system. Even the people that didn't like said the story and characters were excellent. So I have an optimistic out look for MC2.

I just hope our friends in Europe doesn't have to wait over year to get it. Since Bandai-Namco is the publisher, that probably will be the case. Namco seems to stick it to Euro gamers on a consistent basis.

Hopes it come out on the PS3

BTW: the first had a lot of issues but it wasn't crap

it had a wonderful story and diverse characters and I LOVED it

If it has a very good story than I can probably get past a bad battle system, but as many have said the battle system is different. May end up being very good. I am just not going to get my hopes up, that way I can be pleasantly surprised.

I still wish the in-game character models looked like the artwork. O.o
