Yeah, it's been a dry first half for the Wii. Then again, with Pokemon and the 3DS... I've been a bit busy to give Wii attention anyways.

why isn't this stickied?

Because almost everything has been unstickied in anticipation of Gamrconnect 2.0.  Apparently the new forums are supposed to have some functionality that will make stickied threads unnecessary.  What that functionality is, I don't know.

It is supposed to launch June 1st.

This is one of the threads I was pissed to find out was unsticked.

I just bought Okamiden, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest IX, and Radiant Historia for my DS.

Yeah me too, that's basically why I bumped it. I spoke to one of the staff afterwards and was told there will be a 'search' option added to the forums. Perhaps that's the functionality that was being referred to.

It was easy to forget this thread with so few good Wii games coming out over the last year, so don't beat yourself up about it Smeags..

Indeed. Really only Zelda and XenoBlade were the big standouts... but there were a couple of smaller titles that definitely qualified as quality games. But at the end of the day, I wasn't surprised that I finished a year's worth of updates in only two-ish hours.

Although the retial list of games isn't too bad, the WiiWare support in 2011 (at least for quality titles) was pathetic. But that's why we have the eShop now.
