Exactly! I don't understand all the hate towards RE5 when it follows the exact formula 4 was being praised for two years ago.

I realised I didn't present my above post too clearly (or did I?).
The easy example:
RE4 is released Reviewers - "The old RE games were dated, RE4 abandons them all, these new changes are great AAA+++"
RE5 is release Reviewers - "RE5 isn't like the old RE games, it isn't great because of that..."

Frankly I like RE4, but RE5 controls worse (I found chris to be a huge step back from Leon) and the story seems particularly bad, plus I hated the ending
what would make me happy is if capcom stuck with RE4 style gameplay, in a new series, and made real resident evils under the resident evil name, that everyone would be happy, especially me because there would be 2 games I'd probably like

On the Eurogamer scale, 5/10 is average. That means a 7/10 is a very good score, and you people need to quit whining.

they had a good set up with res 4 wii edition but they decided to turn back the clock and put the next game on systems that don't have workable controllers for the game..

7/10 isn't a bad score coming from Eurogamer. They score rather harshly. I think it's fair to assume that this game isn't going to be the RE4 worldchanger we all hoped, but it looks like it's still a grand adventure if your up to the RE4 style of gameplay, and I here the final chapter is epic. I'm renting it, but then again, I always rent before I buy. I positively love the RE universe, and I don't doubt that this will be one of my favs this gen, so suck it Eurogamer, you bastards.
...That last part is meant to be humerous, but I know most of you wouldn't catch that, so I'm ruining the humor for everyone and flat out stating it. Eurogamer is fine, L2FP.
