Well I have just kicked France out of America, then I forced them to become my protectorate give me 2,000 for peace, or else I would have ended them

They do generally do a good job of blockading me, but I had a decent sized fleet ready for them second time

I have managed to stay clear of war, but I have neglected my navy, thankfully, I have just upgraded my 2 main ship building ports, (3rd one under construction) so now I can start building second and third rate ships, but I am concentrating on completing my fleet, and rebuilding all of my US colonies. I am going to decrease my military, before constructing several large armies to take India

Shame on you !!!!!!!

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Anyway the modding community did so much work around Rome Total War I just can't leave the game ( SPQR mod ROCKS). I like the fact that your units do not constantly keep upgrading in Rome and that you can actually get them more experienced and keep them.

Ok I'm installing the game. Looking forward to dominating Europe as Russia.

im hoping to get it tommorow, i loved Medieval 2 and this sounds and looks like it could be even better!

My machine should be able to run it, but I really shouldn't buy anymore full priced games until I finish a few I currently have. Luckily I have spring break this next week, so I should be able to finish a few games. I also just finished Medieval II Total War a couple of months ago after on and off playing for about a year. I don't trust the auto-resolve for battles at all. Even if they can win, they tend to waste far too many units doing it. But everyone totally remembers France stopping and slaughtering the Mongol hordes at Jerusalem and Acre, right?

More impressions?

Can anyone tell something about the multiplayer?

I haven't done any MP yet, but as I have progressed through the campaign, I have noticed some silly AI stuff. Both of the major Indian nations have demanded I pay them tons of money for trade agreements, but this is given that I have ridiculous amounts of money, and they are the ones in need of trade. They have asked me many times and I have refused every time, so it is not as if they are just seeing if it might work. I have also had several stupid offers from the Dutch. I also offered peace to several nations, with money, and given that I am by far the most powerful nation they should really have accepted.

But what I am relieved about is that nobody has been stupid enough to attack me, as they know they will just be defeated

But anyone it is really addictive, and I have just landed my first army in India, and more are to come! But only about 25 years left....

This sounds like the same old, same old. Can't you simply make a counteroffer like in Medieval II? A lot of times some nation would be all, "Yo, let's trade, but how about you pay me a heap of florins for the privilege?" And I would counter with, "Okay, but instead of that how about you pay me 1000 florins?" And then they would accept.

I haven't really bothered, I can't even spend all the money that I am getting unless I litterally filled every construction and recruitment queue

But anyway, I do like the new decentralised system. In each territory, there is a city, and then a lot of towns. It does add a little extra micromanagement, but it gives ensures that all wars do not just rely on sieges

I'd heard they were working towards a system that would discourage the game from turning into a siege fest as in previous Total Wars. Glad to hear it worked out.
