lol. It seems it has. I had really mixed feelings about the demo. It seems that reviewers will be pretty mixed as well.

You can't judge a game by it's lowest review. Overall it's done very well. I have no hate for Gamespot, it's just one opinion.

Why do you think the reviewers have mixed feelings about the game ?

Scores from 90-70 are not mixed. It's a decent to great game.

Mixed is something from 80-50. (Good - decent - bad)

Does anybody really care what Gamespot says anymore? I just read their reviews for the lulz at how badly written they are.

SoTC damaged their reputation, Tools of Destruction damaged it further, Kane and Lynch had them hanging by a string, and Uncharted destroyed them.

So what you would love to hear only 80+ reviews of all games?Thats what Ing is doing.
Uncharted 8.0 = Great.
Sotc = 8.7 = Great.
Tools of the destruction = 7.5 = Good.
Kane and lynch = 6.

Ooh, nice, I was actually expecting it to land exactly at 80 once everything is said and done :P It still might, but thats a nice start.

OT: Gamespot gave Vesperia an 8.5, and all around seem pretty fair at reviews(though they do have occasional ultra-f***ups.). I have respect for them, and a few "off" reviews of a game I haven't played yet isn't going to change that. 

No, I would love to hear a review that accurately describes the quality of the game, and doesn't nitpick on anything.

What follows is my opinion.

Uncharted: 9.5

Shadow of the Colossus: 9.7

Tools of Destruction 9.2

As for Kane and Lynch, yes it sucked, and that's the score it deserved, but probably haven't heard that the reviewer got sacked after giving it that six, because the game was being heavily advertised on GameSpot, it's pretty obvious why he was fired. That cost them pretty much every good reviewer they had, and they made up for it by hiring annoying fanboys like Andre Seegers.

I've given up on ever agreeing with GameSpot. They have no idea how to write a review, most of their reviews are barely a page long, and their scores are never justified. They also happen to be PS3 haters. They write a Halo Wars review the moment the embargo ends, and the embargo for KZ2 ended 19 days ago, and they haven't reviewed it "because they need more time with the online". Yeah, right. They took three weeks to review Valkyria Chronicles, and they often review the 360 version of a game, wait a week, then review the PS3 version.

I'm happy to see that GameSpot are no longer the most popular gaming website, IGN are.

EDIT: By GameSpot's logic, Echochrome is as good as Uncharted, and Blitz The League II is as good as Tools of Destruction. Um...no.

They gave Tales of Destiny like a 4.5 and said that it should have never left Japan.

They could give every Tales since then a 10 and it still wouldn't redeem their horrible taste.
