I'm not interested due to HVS not making a good game yet (even Guerilla made the excellent Killzone: Liberation) and for it missing features that I think are necessary in a FPS.

According to wikipedia they developed 7 games  75%+ review average, two of which with over 80% one at 81 the other at 85. I'm not sure what your standards are but I'm pretty sure that anything in the 80s is accepted as good by reviewers, and I personally liked games in 60s. Now of course you could say reviews aren't always accurate and I don't know if the games are actually good without playing them, but the same could be said for you as well. That is unless you played every game developed by HVS.

I'm sure which games are those, but I do they did make Go, Diego! Go: Safari Rescue, America's Army, and the Family Guy Game.

Just like the amazing Tiny Toon Adventures: Dizzy's Candy Quest and Spongebob Squarepants on PS1 :P

Made by none other then the fine folks at Gueriilla Games.

Yes, more than 10 years ago whereas all of those games were made in the past two or three years.

If they were not bought by Sony would they only be making Killzone titles at the moment?  Hardly, they lived off the same life blood as HVS, except when GG was in the same boat they never made a single good game, at least HVS has been apart of a few good games.

I really don't see how doing their normal licensed games is a big issue, as a business they did things like that because it could one day fund things they really wanted to do, like The Conduit, quite a few employees funded the project themselves, so they weren't even getting paid to do it, they literally put their money where their mouth is.

Fair enough. But the complaints still stand.

Dude we discussed this haha.  Them and HVS are essentially on the same boat.  I guess I need to write that article haha.

Indeed we did. But I still think that Guerilla is ahead of HVS.

Well they are but usually we Americans don't put to much weight on a centimeter.  Maily because we don't use the metric system haha.

according to Wikipedia they have developed a plethora of games and their average isn't 75%, but I instead calculate it to 62.91% average.

I think you misunderstood him. He said that they developed 7 games that had a 75% or higher review average, two of which were over 80%, 81% and 85% being the exact value of those two. The other 5 were between 75% and 79%

It feels really weird repeating what sc said almost verbatim, but hopefully you understand it this time. You probably just read over it a bit too fast the first time. :P

ohh....read the inflection wrong.  thought he was saying that was all of their games and the average of them was 75.  I need to read more closely before putting work into a post like that.  c'est la vie.

...

To me, the most appealing thing about this game is the controls. That being said, I don't expect them to out perform Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2. That game has been out for quite a while and no one has matched it yet. The graphics really don't look that great to me, and I don't understand what exactly what it is that people are seeing that I'm not. Also, it looks like a very generic FPS. Aliens and bugs are not exciting to me anymore. They would have been ten years ago. You have two choices of things to shoot in a FPS these days. They are aliens and nazis. Also, local multiplayer is essential to casual gamers like me. Meh.
