Forums - Sales - Deadly Creatures, Tenchu, & Onechanabara are bombing (according to Amazon)

Not the price. It could be because Playboy requested and received nude images of the main characters for a spread in their magazine. The info is making it's way around the interweb while we are posting. This may be enough to get some guys interested in the game.

Are you serious? LOL This is actually a very good marketing move.

Currently Gamecock's distribution is non-existent. Didn't they get bought up?

Yes by South Peak. The same guys that bring us exciting games like "Pool Party", "Brave" and "Pinball 3D"... yep they're quite screw

Before you know it, the next thing we are going to see is full frontal male nudity in a videogame. Call me crazy if you will, but it's bound to happen.

What I'm waiting for is Karma Sutra Positions: The Game compatible with the Wii Balance Board.  That thing would fly off of the shelves.

Tell me how Amazon can get it so right when clearly UK charts got HOTD at no.10???

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

What list are you looking at? The list thats including accessories, online stuff, etc?

House of the Dead:Overkill was #13 in the UK (All formats, Full price), so that one isn't bombing for sure.

If publishers see Deadly Creatures as a test, they simply don't have a clue. It's a new IP about a spider and a scorpion which doesn't have clear gameplay. And I'm pretty sure it will sell 500k in the end, which should be more than sufficient.

But that whole test thing is bullshit anyway. Most publishers will have to have stuff in development right now or lose out on 50% of the market.

I want to buy Deadly Creatures but none of the retailers here carry the game. How can we buy a game if stores will not sell it?

the idea of a bug game repells me ... even if it was the new mario i would not like it....

According to Amazon "We Cheer" is a success. ....... well not really. Didn't we have a rule about Amazon numbers?

It is a success, haven't you heard?

I've seen about 12 copies Deadly Creatures sitting in a shelf over here for 50€.
