uh... Onechanbara:Bikini Zombie Slayers is being used as a barometer by other publishers?

Dear my ... of course no. BTW is funny how people still think on games bombing on the Wii just for the first week after this:

And this:

and some others

The wii is weird whe it comes to games. Games tend to start win no legs and grow a pair 5 weeks later.

Mushroom Men never recovered from its initial bomb. It didn't suddenly start selling 3 weeks later.

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

I doubt any of these games will sell well. Tenchu might if it got any kind of advertising, and it might develop legs. Deadly Creatures - is just kinda icky. And I'm not seeing it even stocked in many stores. Even if there is any demand it's likely stores ordered very little stock. Too bad, it's suppose to be pretty good. And Bikini Zombie Slayers? Who cares.

In other news I'm seeing HoTD:Overkill completely sold out at some stores.

Mushroom Men was also published by Gamecock. Which explains itself quite nicely.

As Claude said it before; Gamecock. Their distribution is even worst than Atlus.

Don't use Amazon tracking as any kind of gauge. Amazon can only sell how much it buys from the publisher. If they only buy 10 copies, it's going to be listed very low on the charts.

However, I heard some retailers aren't even carrying Deadly Creatures.

I don't understand this. Why did the publisher not push this? Its like they made it to die and prove that wii does not sell. Its like an unending cycle.

Edit: In other good news regarding house of the dead, I have been seeing some advertising for it. I also saw madworld tacked on to the end of a commercial for it.

Currently Gamecock's distribution is non-existent. Didn't they get bought up?

These games definitely have challenges. One of the big ones being that they all came out at the same time. Things would be better if publishers had managed to get them on shelves before the holidays ended. They can still limp along to modest success.

The sad thing is that Onechanbara is selling much, much better than Tenchu. Could it be the price? Hmmm.

Not the price. It could be because Playboy requested and received nude images of the main characters for a spread in their magazine. The info is making it's way around the interweb while we are posting. This may be enough to get some guys interested in the game.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
