Forums - General Discussion - Have you switched?

I was wondering how many of you guys have switched from Internet explorer to Mozilla Firefox "the browser reloaded". NO pop ups, NO viruses, ten times safer and faster. Mozilla Firefox is much more advanced then Internet Explorer in every way, plus its free just like explorer, loaded with tons of features, safer and faster browsing, and a cooler name I would think Firefox be tons popular here. My High school actually switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox. Everyone in my house with windows uses it. Here is a link to a site that fully explains why you should switch if you haven't already. http://www.switch2firefox.com/ Heard enough? Make the change: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Here is a cnet review between Internet explorer, Safari, Opera, Firefox, Netscape, and deepnet explorer. Once again stating Firefox rules.

Anyone with half a brain uses Firefox or Opera by now. Still doesn't mean you need to make a thread explaining why you get a stiffy for a type of browser.

Are you using Linux? Then your switch means nothing!

Mozilla firefox has crashed on me more times than Internet explorer. By an margin of about 20 to 1.

As a user who regularly downloads files over 1 gig (not torrent, download) early builds were entirely unusable as they stopped downloads and lost them, thus making me glad that my ISP wonders why I've just used 2 gigs of bandwidth for the same file.

I have been virused much worse using Mozilla than ever using Internet Explorer.

I still use it, but mainly because I'm too lazy to swap bookmarks. Until it annoys me again.

Firefox is proven a better browser then them all. I don't know if you guys are just fanboys of M$ or have a viruses infected computer. Firefox really is the browser reloaded. It got the browser of the year 3 times. I HIGHLY suggest it, it rox! My dad's office recently switched to firefox as well. The only thing that can compete with firefox 2.0 is Safari on the mac, but for windows. Firefox all the way, nothing can compare. I have seen it myself.

I use internt explorere and never get pop ups.

mM

Nope.
