I've heard that most people don't like the recoil on the guns in the game. Not sure if that's his issue with the aiming system, but if it is, then it's a moot point to me. But I can understand some people won't like it, especially after games like COD4 and CS teach people that yes, it is possible to reach out and touch someone across the map with an MP5 on full auto or an AK47 (I still don't understand why this is the most accurate assault rifle in CS).

As for framerate issues, it's only while loading. And there are plenty of graphical issues in Gears of War 1, and that was praised for it's visuals (screen tearing, texture's loading slowly or in the rare instance not loading at all).

WOW! Should have seen that coming. I will not dispute this. I too believe more in reviews on a 10 point scale that are not afraid to use some decimals. I always feel they are more in detailed on why a game got the score that they did. And if they are more indetailed then I can make a judgement on unfair rulings on a game(like IGN's hating on Heavenly Sword's combat system or Kingdom Heart's Reaction Commands).

5/5 is not a perfect score. 10/10 is not a perfect score. Hell, 100% is not a perfect score.
No game will ever be perfect. Ever. All a maximum score means is that the game is in the top tier of quality.

5/5 could be anywhere from 90-100, 10/10 anywhere from 95-100, 100% anywhere from 99.5-100.

A maximum score means that there are cons, but they are trivial, and the pros so far outweigh them that they cease to matter.
