I BEAT METROID PRIME!!!!!

69% completion. I got the crappy ending and unlocked hard mode... I was playing the easy mode!?!?!



I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Heh, I'm playing Prime as well. I had beaten it earlier and could choose Hard mode, so I'm dying every ten minutes and love it! Whoever said Nintendo only makes easy games? =P

I am convinced that people who complain that there are not enough hard games in general only play one or two levels of each game or don't play many games.

And I still can't beat Meta Ridley :'(... I have beaten Echoes and saw the ending of Prime 1 on the internet but I can't get past Meta Ridley..

Any suggestions?

 1) Use Plasma Beam only if he is near you. Power beam + Charge Combo should help.

2) Remember his attacks, he is repeating them over and over again - if you keep in mind how they work you can jump away. 

3) When his wings are broken you need the morphball. Try to use Power bombs but keep using the boost.

4) More Energy tanks, anyone?

Androo...my name is Etecoon and I have a confession. I haven't beat Echoes and had to watch the ending on You Tube. Oh, I'm so ashamed of myself, but the boss kicked my ass a couple times and I knew there was nothing left to see, that I couldn't find on the net. I feel your pain. Meta Ridley is indeed a bitch. Unfortunately, he is not the final boss. Metroid Prime is next. Now that is a boss battle. I only recently beat that one. I think Louie has given a fairly good strategy for beating Ridley. Try it, but realize the worst is yet to come.

Stof...congratulations. And what is your overall feeling about that game now?

eab...I have set my countdown for 10 am on Tuesday. That is when most stores open. I live in California, so I am -8 GMT.

And my condolences to anyone living in Europe.
