we know the ps3 version will be good or better, but what if the 360 version is downgraded? or maybe even marred by tehnical issues? what then?

EMULATION is the past.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

PS3, possibly import too. It isn't just based on what system it is being optimized for, I prefer the lightweight sixaxis and button layout of the controller for this type of game.  Long play sessions need a light controller.

So.. 4 disc with 8 min. atleast per disc = over 30 min. of WAITING.

What happened to insert and PLAY? =))))

Anyway, IF PS3 version won`t have installs or only 1-2 min. installs, then what? =)))

Somehow i feel, that by the time of FFXIII western release, many who choosed x360 version, will change their opinion. =))

PS3 FTW! :)

Every 5 seconds on earth one child dies from hunger...

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.

@Bboid, if the 360 controller seems heavyweight for you... I suggest you a Gym subscription.

Long play sessions need a good controller.
Heavy or not (I prefer the heavy, real one. BTW, on the original Xbox, I loved the first controller (Big and heavy one) not the S-Controller. The rumbling was insane. The feel was real, like a war tool.)

Hardcore gaming is not for kids.

On the contrary. Children are the most hardcore gamers there there are.

Wrong.
Kids are allowed to play Wii Sports.

They are not allowed to play Mass Effect, Fable, MGS4, COD4, etc...
ESRB exist to protect our kids education.

probably be 360 to join the rest of the Square Enix roster...

unless of course it turns out to be a very bad port then I'll probably get a PS3 or skip the game altogether

Those games hardly define what is "hardcore". After all - most of the people who beat any given traditional Mega Man game tend to be children at the time.

Final Fantasy, in comparison, is not really a "hardcore" franchise.
