360=cheerful cheap(er), available..

If SONY kills the price in Q1-Q2 2009 im sure M$ would follow suit. where is halo 4 already.

And for all those of you who are playing valkyria.. i hate you all.. The best sega game in years and i cant play it coz its on a sony console..
..oh the irony!

There's just a little misprint, there no longer making the 40GB its just the 80GB now for $399 then later this month there gonna be introducing the 160GB for $499

yea its the 80 gb mainly but theres load of 40 gb stocks lying about in the stores here in the middle east.. what about NA?

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

i dont think you will see halo 4 this generation. expect it to be a launch title a very well developed launch title in 2012 with 3-4 years worth of work put into it, much like the original halo. 

for now your going to have to deal with spin offs and branchs like halo 3 recon. 

just get used to gears, there should be one more this generation

some of you really have no idea what a price drop will do for ps3 and some of you also seem to never check official figures instead of vgchartz. ps3 already has passed the 360 everywhere apart from america.

That just isn't going to happen by the end of this generation and by that i mean before one of the major three launches their next console. If by some miracle Sony stretched the PS3 to an effective 10 year cycle, Nintendo squandered all the good will they've earned with the masses and Microsoft jumped the gun with a very early start to the next gen effectively killing the 360, then.....mayb.....no, still no.

Furthermore, i'm curious what official figures have PS3 sold to stores/consumers numbers that are above the 360's (for others).  Also the fact that PS3 has approximately half 360's install base in the largest market is rather more important than it's lead Japan and it's at best meagre lead in Others.

Nah, by the time the ps3 stops bleeding money and they can afford enough pricecuts to tap their old fanbase both the wii and the 360 will have alredy taken too much of the pie. Remember multiplatform owners are less than 10% of the market.

Let's assume this gen will end up at 200M units, 70 something millions have been sold already.

Personally I'm betting on a virtual tie between both HD platforms at the end of the gen.
