Calm down and i wouldn't think to try to change your mind but to me its quite obvious when Time Crisis etc comes out with a gun having pointer functionality it is clearly still hugely popular.  Wiimote extends this function naturally and with proper support it might be standard in controllers in future, unlike thumbsticks that frankly are not pin point accurate.

The Conduit hasn't been released yet, guys. It can't be compared yet. It could be a slideshow for all we know.

There's a hell of a lot more to graphics and "look" than static screenshots. It could have horrid animations, etc. Or, they might be brilliant, and it might look better than Gears! ;)

I was joking, sorry.  I honestly am not that impressed with The Conduit thusfar.  It looks decent but... resolution is everything in my book.  I think a lot of consumers are going to concur.  Sorry man.

It will certainly look much better than the crappy PS2 ports the Wii usually gets, though, and better than most XBox1 games ever looked -- which is honestly something most Wii games can't lay claim to.  At this point though, I think MP3 will hold the line as far as top-notch graphics on the Wii go, for shooters.  ...and sadly, although it looks hot, and the art design is awesome, in the end it doesn't stand up to even some of the uglier shooters on the HD consoles.

If the Wii was capable of 720p, it would probably be a pretty good looking game.  I really think its only held back by the hardware.  The devs are really making good use of what the Wii has to offer, IMO... its a challenge to stand up to Metroid and RE4 for "best looking shooter" on the Wii.

umm.. what ?.. i mean sure HDTV is higher rez.. but.. you can see the textures, the lack of jaggies, the immersion that comes with the insane polygon count on each model..

There is a insane difference between the wii and the HD consoles.. EVEN on a SDTV. I might notice it more because i make a lot of graphics stuff.. but seriously, if you for one second can't see the difference, your... hmm.. not paying attention ?.. at all ? .

i mean.. i dunno.. but seriously :\ it's visible all the time. Only games i've played that looks like they do on other consoles are the games for the other consoles.. meaning.. my ps2games and my ps1 games.

The more raw power you have at your disposal the more advanced your game can be. That also includes gameplay, AI etc,.. every single aspect of a game.

Another note is that wii games doesn't use the wiimote to what it could be capable off. Nintendo games either. But that's possibly a drawback with the lack of more power in the machine. Who knows. (besides the wiimotion plus)

I'm not saying that all these games are better.. but they have the oppotunity to be with the hardware provided. It's simply up to the developers to choose.

I don't see anything special about the conduit's graphics. About equal to the first xbox graphics. Nothing better nothing worse.
