Well first 2 days of price cut SHOULD be significant....n they proved not to be that significant
PS3 basically wins WW by 40K
this is strange, if vg chartz shows data a day after the price cut and its only spiked sales by roughly 20,000 units compared to last week in america, then why did the ps3 have a sales spike of over 200,000 units the day after mgs4 came out, it means that the 360 price cut has failed.
DS: 120,000,000; Wii: 60,000,000; Xbox 360: 38,000,000; PlayStation 3: 34,000,000; PlayStation Portable: 60,000,000
PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E
For only being 2 days of price cut that's actually pretty good, next week 360 should be above 90k.
Kinda disappointing xbox 360 sales, not bad just not that great. Microsoft better have at least 100k next week if they wanna to outsell ps3 worldwide.
Good Wii and DS numbers. I won't comment on the ps3 vs 360 war just yet. PS3 comes out on top this week [WW], but we won't see the full effect of the price cut till next week. If the 360 Doesn't beat the ps3 and sustain 150K for atleast the rest of the month.... then this will be an Epic Fail for MS...
Edit: Ah yes. I almost forgot. The PSP is so far one of the most empressive handhelds i've ever seen sales wise. The fact that it can stay at a constant 55K+ [usually over 60] against Nintendo's current handheld beast is impressive. And the fact that it's been doing it all with very very few new game releases these days.
Congrats this Week to the PSP:
4 ≈ One

==> because sales were REALLY slower before the price cut (monday => thursday)
and then they skyrocketed for friday+saturday
that is why the "double (+100%) sales effect compared to last week-end" become "+50% boost only during the week" (from 50k to 75k).
Time to Work !
