Imo looking at it from the perspective of a Wii owner buying my next system, I would have to pick the Xbox 360. *Im a Wii60 owner currenly, because the damn PS3 broke down again, and I have to pay for it... again*

1. Its half the price, and because of the huge 2nd hand library its very cheap to fill out your games collection.
2. The games collection gels really well with the ethos of each console, you have creative XNA games/Xbox Live games, If you like Rare then you get access to their games and a wider variety of experiences. 19 90%+ games when taken together.
3. Xbox 360s will cost you less over time from repairs.
4. Blu ray can wait, the disks cost too damn much anyway.

The console I am most likely to get is: DS.

Out of the two HDs though it would be PS3... the 360s library in general doesn't interest me, wheras I could probably name a dozen or so worthwhile games on PS3... however I certainly won't be buying one, I have never had more than one console per generation, I am happy with my Wii, in fact I can't afford all the games I want for it.

The problem isn't price as much as time. I have so little time to devote to gaming, another console would just mean more games I want, or more games I have that I feel bad that I never play. But if I was making a choice, PS3. Blu Ray, Linux, Ratchet, LBP.

on both I would go with the ps3 because of the xbox 360 costing so much in the end. I mean after add ons and the cost of live for a few years the ps3 actually costs less than the 360.
