I was a Wii only owner until just recently when I bought my PS3 with MGS4. The choice was quite easy because I don't like shooters and sports games so the Xbox 360 was never an option.

I'm in the exact opposite position. PS3 is my second console, now that I'm done with MGS4, it has become more of a media player as I wait for games I want (LittleBigPlanet, FFXIII, RE5,etc...) and my Wii gets most of my play time and I have a list of games I want that I don't buy because I wouldn't have time to play them.
So if you have the patience to find one, upgrade to the Wii, you WILL NOT be disappointed
