One thing no one has taken into account yet is what systems any of your friends have, as that can make a huge difference when it comes to online gaming.
The console i think that is better is: the 360 because it has more games
The console im more likely to get is: the PS3 because of blu-ray. That's the main reason I would get it is because it's a blu-ray player. I don't have a HD tv yet but will have one soon.
I cant bring myself to buy either, the 360 has the games and is cheaper but I cant live with how faulty the hardware is. PS3 has the reliable hardware but not enough exclusive games and is way too expensive.
Maybe if M$ finally do a 360 redsign and its going cheap, I may pick one up.

Personally a Wii was my second console choice. I got a PS3 first then the Wii. No room for 360 sadly as I still have my PC and between PC and PS3 there's not enough other titles left on 360 that I'm after to justify it. Still, the way they're dropping the price I might get one 2009 just for the few titles I would have missed otherwise.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
With all the hardware issues that come with the XBox 360, the PS3 is just a safer bet.
Just like Reasonable, the Wii is my secondary console.My primary system is the PS3....but I still got a 360 to play Mass Effect, Fable 2 and Gears....don´t like playing on a PC.
But if I had to choose between the PS3 and 360, I´d go with the PS3...personally its exclusives appeal more to me than the ones for the 360.

the ps3 is more likely to get it due to the inclusion of blu ray, since the systems offer almost the same game experience they wont be a clear winner for that front
however since the ps3 is a movie player for HD format it will pass the 360 in time

- Price
- Don't Care about BR
i would get 360 as the games are better, also my friends hgave 360's and wii so online would be better.No -one seems to have PS3 here in UK.
