Sonic Unleashed could bring back the speed.
The Sonic Knight game could be interesting.
And the RPG on the DS is shaping up fine.

So I think that there are just people who like to shoot fish in a barrel.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Sonic Chronicles, will bring back Sonic!!!!!!

Sonic and the Secret Rings was actually a step in the right direction. Sonic and the Black Knight is being made by the same team. I actually think that this is going to be cool. Sonic will be around another twenty years at least. He'll kill all of the people saying that hes's dead with his new sword. Go! Go! Sonic!

It might be more funny if M&S weren't the best selling game in the UK.

but the majority of people who buy that game buy it because of mario...not sonic, i wish it were vice versa. Sonic was such a great series...like megaman

They should just release a 16 bit sonic on wiiware,PSN and XBL and it would sell way better than any of the 3D ones.

I'm not so sure about that, a lot of the current Sonic fanbase were raised on the 3D games and they're usually the oens that buy every new console game religiously. Just the sight of 2D sprites would repel them like holy water.

So wut, Dr eggman won?

In order to make a decent transition to 3D, Sonic games ought to have more emphasis on careful precise jumps. It's not like 2D where the limited plane of movement make it very easy to just run and forget anything. If anything, a slower pace Sonic would be a good idea since it makes it easier for the player to make pin-point precise jumps, which is what platforming is all about.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

I've never cared for Sonic games, but he's not dead, not when they can still make a Sonic game that can sell 1+ million.
