Under Green Lantern Memores 2: The forgetful demigod... it explains it better then me. It's hilarious. I laughed about it constantly as a kid.

Though he doesn't mention Lex Luthor planned for him to forget him to put it back because it would raise the tempeture making it better and closer to the aliens of Saturns enviroment... hm or maybe it was Venus.
