Forums - Sony - Why isn't there much hype for Versus?

I think the game is underwhelmed, it looks to be better then FF XIII in my opinion, it kinda has a FF VII feel to it and to be honest with you I'm looking forward to Versus more then XIII

(I'm just glad them greedy b@$tards at Microsoft didn't get there hands on it)

Edit: hey my comment got me thinking, maybe that's why its so underwhelmed they didn't want it to look that great so that Microsoft wouldn't want to spend an ass load of money on it

i was always more into the versus story- For one Nomura said that the main character wasnt emo, gloomy or like any of the other main characters in ff. He also said that not many people will like the main character, so i am hoping he's some what evil. But if the game goes multiplatform i will lose some interest in the game, since i havent played a multiplatform game this generatioon that i liked.

oh and theres blood in versus.

ho said that ??!!

It's hard for me to get hyped for a game that's years away.

Well... ok, other then Diablo 3 :p

FFX sux? what's wrong with you people? :P

it's my favorite FF+favorite game of all time...

Also, Versus does seem much more interesting, a "dark FF" is truly something i would wanna see.

Well, FFXIII will have a combination of FFXII and FFX battle system with a hectic, flashy combat. FFvsXIII is going to be an action RPG on the lines of KH. I prefer strategical RPGs over pure action RPGs.

Kitase is the producer of FFXIII, whereas Nomura is leading FFvsXIII. I have faith in Kitase, whereas Nomura, if left alone, he fucks up a bit. Imo, FFvsXIII will end up too much emo-filled and I don´t like the design of the lead character, the others looks interesting though. So far more has been shown from FFXIII and really like what I´ve seen. All characters look promising, the various creatures and summons that were shown look great and the various cities and places that were shown look imposing like they should be in a FF game. I think FFXIII will have a great setting, a struggle between the secured people living inside the cocoon and those outside left in their fates. FFvsXIII looks too gloomy and although Nomura promises a darker, with real-life problems, approach, it will mean to an extent the melancholy of the main character and depiction as an emo. Besides, main FFs, like FFVI, FFVII and FFXII had a real-life approach and weren´t gloomy like that.

i can't wait for the game. I want it more than FF13 right now....
