but if you look at metrois prime 3: corruption, compaired to any gamecube game, then you know it was worth it. and besides, it can support xbox360 graphics, i mean, just look at Dead Rising and the conduit. the wii is more than a 128 bit console

Actually playing both Mele and Brawl I have to say there is a pretty nice graphical improvement . Shore no GTA3->4 but still looks seamingly better :)

Lol half of those games are Straight port.. Alright how about this, decide what gamcube game has the best graphics. Then I will show you the wii game with the best graphics that are similar to that game.

First you had two spelling errors in the title; you propably mean Nintendo Gamecube and Wii. Not the other way around.

As for your question: yes, it was worth it. I propably haven't had as much fun playing games since the NES.
In case you haven't noticed, people don't care about the graphics, sure all the fanboys are talking about the graphics all the time, but that's just about it. Wii has challenged conventional thinking, and this is why it's the only console, which makes a lot of games possible. So, as far as i can tell, it's the biggest improvement of the three current gen consoles.

For the record I once owned a N64 but I never bought a Game Cube and have decided to skip the Nintendo Wii. When a Nintendo HD console comes out I may reconsider. A few years time and you never know what will be on the horizon.

The best Game Cube game I would say I liked the look of Mario Sunshine. Well the Wii version Super Mario Galaxy is quite a huge  graphical improvement.

Most would be happy with the motion controller. But if you are used to the controller some people like me hate change. i am used to a controller and stand up and using the motion control would be tiring after a hard day's work.
