What about Tales of Versperia? Isn't that coming next year, as well? Or is it this holiday season?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Indeed, this is good news. Hope it's given the same care as previous games.

apparently not, but we'll have to wait till E3 itslef to see how big or small it really is. Chances are it won't be as big as 06 or 07 though.

It seems no one else cares about this. If soriku was online, i'm sure he would be jumping with joy at this news, though.

E3 has 33 companies showing up this year, in comparison to the 400+ that attended E3 '06. Additionally, the entire thing will be in the lobby of the convention center, the same lobby that once had three or four companies, and which people went to mostly to get to the massive halls on either side. So yeah, it's downscaled.

On the other hand, there still seems to be plenty of good stuff coming for Nintendo's systems alone, so while this isn't going to top '06, or even '04, it's still shaping up to be pretty sweet. Especially noteworthy is that Nintendo's invited many more gaming sites to its conference this year, so they have something planned for the "core" gamer that they think people will like.

We're there. DKII to be more precise.

Can someone explain what Tales are what? Like if certain games are connected or which are "Mothership" titles? Or if that is too time consuming, possibly divert me to a place where I could learn this?

I've only ever played Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia

They are similar to FF, in that they only have elements from the other games, but not the same universe. I think the only ones that are connected are direct sequels like symphonia. I'm not certain about this since I only played symphonia. I do beleive the "mothership" titles are referred to as the main series. For example Symphonia Dawn of the New world isn't a mothership(even though wikipedia lables it as one) beause its a spinoff of ToS. THat doesn't mean its a bad game though. Tales of Vesperia is a mothership title though. I think soriku could better explain this since he is a huge fan of teh series.
