Anyway, more on-topic, there's alot of parallel points between 1998 and 2008 such as Starcraft and MGS1 in 1998, and SC2 and MGS4 in 2008, but there seems to be lacking a good Zelda game to replace Ocarina of Time.

That would be amazing if nintendo releases a new zelda this holiday season, but very unlikely. Maybe if those rumors about the wii zelda begining developement a year before twilight princess' release.

Which region are we going off? If 2007 steals brawl and Wii Fit due to the Japanese release, and Spore and Starcraft 2 get delayed till 2009 then no, it isn't the best year ever

I think it is. 2008 already got two 10 games from IGN.
And last year wasnt shit but 98 was better IMO.
Well Im not sure. Its between 08 and 98.
07 no way. Overrated year Halo 3 doesnt make it shit.
